Marshmallows
Receptacles (boxes or buckets, etc.)
Timer
This one is best for teams, but you could do it individually
This can be inside or out, you just need to be able to define a clear start and finish
Each team has a set amount of time to get as many marshmallows as they can into the receptacle at the end of the course. On go, the first person will remove their socks, pick up the marshmallow with their toes and throw it as far as they can. They will then have to go to where it landed, pick it up with their toes and drop it in to the receptacle. From the moment they throw, their throwing foot must not touch the ground until the marshmallow is in the receptacle. If it does they must start back at the beginning (allow some touching during the pickup). Once the marshmallow is in the receptacle, they can then tag the next person in the team who will do the same. In the event the marshmallow lands in the receptacle from the throw, the next person can go immediately.
Scoring is, as always, completely arbitrary, you can award only the winner, score points per marshmallow, or award points on a sliding scale from winner to loser. Decide how you wish based on the number of players.
You could replace the marshmallows with something else you might have, not sure I have any suggestions for that.Â
You can add obstacles to make it harder, offer bonus points for "holes in one" or have a bonus point receptacle in a much harder to reach location. You can make people do it with their socks on, or not mention socks at all and see if anyone thinks to take them off.
