Everyone stands in a circle facing outwards with their eyes closed and covered. In the middle of the ring on the floor will be the sweet potato of doom (SPOD). The game master will then select someone at random and tap them on the shoulder (keep walking around the inside of the circle even after you have chosen someone to make it less obvious). The chosen person will quietly turn around and open their eyes, they will pick up the SPOD and place it behind someone at their feet, then return to their position and close and cover their eyes. The game master will then announce that everyone can wake up, everyone will then open their eyes and turn around, the person with the SPOD in front of them will then be eliminated unless they can correctly guess who put it there, in which case the SPOD placer is eliminated. There will be two at the end who share the victory.

Scoring is, as always, completely arbitrary, you can award only the last two standing, or award points on a sliding scale based on elimination. Decide how you wish based on the number of players.

No, it doesn't have to be a sweet potato, I use a sweet potato, I even put a bit of masking tape on it and write the word "DOOM!" It could literally be anything.

You can play this where if they guess right the person they are safe but no one is eliminated, you could throw bonus points at them instead if you like.
